do you need internet connection for dlc?

i wanna get the new dlc for skyrim at gamestop but idk if i need internet connection for the xbox
do i need internet connection if i buy the dlc at gamestop? i know i can just ask the dude at the store but its kinda far away lol. for oblivion i got the game of the year edition with shivering isles and the other one. i needed internet connection for that disk but im hoping things have changed.

ya as far as i know gamestop should have a disc for dawngaurd.. or at least that is what iv been told. so i am not downloading it from xbox live
i needed internet connection for the shivering isles disc so that is what is worrying me. i don't understand why i needed it. hopefully they changed things.

DLC means Downloadable Content, so yes, you have to have an internet connection. Unless there's a DVD for Dawnguard, but I'm not entirely sure if it's like Shivering Isles or not since back then there wasn't a gigantic market for DLC...

Yeah unless you can get dawngaurd on a disc and install it that way
