My friend, Jeff, says that it used to be a lot easier to find good answers on the Internet. Is that true?

He says that when you search for answers now you get a lot of junk. I don't believe him. I think as the Internet gets more people on it we are bound to get better answers. Right?

I've been on the internet for over a decade.

There is a lot more information out there now than before. It's actually easier to find information now.

The main difference from now and 10 years ago is that websites with illegal activities have diminished in quantity and there are more younger users now.

The previous version of "Answers" on Yahoo contained much more material than this current one.

I think your friend is right, there's good answers, but you gotta dig through a whole lot of crap to find it. People like to act like fools on the internet cuz of the fact they're anonymous.

If he's talking about this site he's right.Often people here answer when they have no idea what they are talking about. If he means the internet in general I don't agree.Anytime I need information I find it on the internet,I can't tell you how much money it has saved me.From buying good products to getting answers on fixing stuff I would have needed to pay someone to fix.

I had a friend named Jeff who made statements like that. He was an idiot and made all kind of stupid statements without providing proof to back it up. I just ignored him.

But no, everything was better in the "good old days" according to some people. They remember things like they want to, not how it really was. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, even morons.

It was good then, better now.

This moron's opinion.
