Internet connection on the ps4?
I have a really crappy isp that I am stuck with (it is the only one that services our area) and the speeds I get are 1 mb download .5 mb upload, and about 40 ping. (My pingtest results are an A) Can I still play multiplayer games with this slow speed? I'm not worried about slow downloads on games, just if I can play multiplayer. I never have problems with PC multiplayer games. Thanks!

1mb is the bare minimum for multiplayer games, you should be able to play online.

You can still play multiplayer games online, but it will lag at least slightly. The *recommended minimum* is at least 3mb for online gaming. You're lucky you've not had problems on PC multiplayer online.
