What happened to my Wi-Fi router?
I have an ENCORE Wireless Router that I no longer used after it stopped working. After I had entitled the thingy, I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi, nor connect my computer to the internet. I have the wizard disc thing, could that help? And I have no idea what my ID and password is for the website, so I have to recreate it. Any way I could do that? And when I tried setting up a password, I couldn't connect to the router when I entered the password. It would go in, but it'd say it couldn't access the internet. If you help out with the first dilemma, help out with the password setup too, will ya? Thanks!

When you connect a router, you MUST reboot the modem again. Unplug your modem for at least 30 seconds or a minute and plug it back in again. When the lights are done flashing your router should be recognized.

1) plug out your internet connection from router.
2)now, use the reset button on backside of router.
3)switch ON the laptop and plug connection to router.
4) router will recognize connection and your system will find wi-fi.
5)enter default address of the browser and then reset connection.
DONE!!!!
