How do I deal with an annoying classmate?

I have a classmate in two of my college classes whom I initially thought could be my study buddy. The issue is that she is far from being a good student. She barely passes her classes. She works two jobs and has 5 five classes (supposedly). So, she is always late and never does her homework. I was nice to her once and I let her copy my homework. I thought that maybe she could be helpful to me. Now I just want to get away from her. She is really annoying. We work in groups in class. My group is very quiet but I am always sharing answers. So, today we were developing a research question and I said that we should talk about Facebook and self-esteem. She said, "How would you feel if you were asked that question? Because I would not be comfortable." She got defensive for no reason. Then in class she strikes up convos with everyone(whom she doesn't know) except me (about their weekend). Then she was just being really rude. She asked me, "Did all you do during the week-end was homework?" While I am proud of being a nerd and liking my major, I was offended by her question. How do I put up with her?

Ask the teacher if you could switch classmate.

Or just tell your classmate that if she keeps being annoying, your not going to help her.

Or just talk to her.
