How to install something without an internet connection?

I want to install realplayer on my friend's laptop (which doesn't have the internet). See I want to play some video files which are mp4 and realplayer allows us to do that in good quality. I tried to copy the installation/downloading files onto my usb stick and then transfer them onto her laptop and then install it, but that didnt work. It said we needed an internet connection.

Is there ANY way we can get realplayer on her no internet laptop!??!?! please help

the application (video player) you download may be online player cz of this it require the internet connection, download a player which directly supportede, like mpc star, vlc media player etc

Use a different stand alone player or hook their laptop up to your internet connection for 5 mins and do it. It is a laptop after all, there has to be a hot spot near by.
