Twitter satire?

I have a school project where I have to take a clip from youtube and I have to what is being satarized.
Satire definition: the use of humor or irony to ridicule and critizise people's stupidity..

So, I was searching on you tube and I found a clip from the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon where he and Justin Timberlake were talking in hashtags through out the conversation (obviously copying twitter and other social media sites). what is this video satirzing.

The whole point of this video is to show people how stupid & silly the twitter hashtags are if they used it in real life or even in Twitter, still using them in tweets is worthless and silly.
