Should I take a pregnancy test?
Two months ago I had an ectopic pregnancy. I got the methotrexate shot, and my levels went down after a few weeks.

I took b/c for a month.

My period was supposed to come yesterday. I have had some cramping. But not so much since yesterday. I have some pain where my ectopic was.

I did the q-tip test, but the qtip was completely clean. I don't want to take a test and be disappointed. But should I at this point?

I had an ectopic in august.I too had methotrexate. Before my ectopic I had 28 day cycles. For 2 months after I had 28 days. Then it changed to 33-34 day cycles. And this month back to 28 days..Its normal to change your cycles. It is very risky though to start trying within the first 3 months of having your ectopic. They try to advise against trying until you have had 3 regular periods after. As trying again so soon can increase your chances of having another...If you have facebook search ectopic pregnancy, there are a lot of support groups.I'm involved in 3 of them myself. All are formed by and of women who are going through the same things. The pain is also normal. My crampy pains lasted almost the whole 3 months.now during periods and ovulation I get pains. But the other women will also tell you it is all normal. If you are worried don't hesitate to go back to your doctor. You now know the signs of something not right. You know your body.If you think something is not right follow you instincts.
