How to make your iPhone?

How do you make your iPhone alert you when you get a twitter direct message? When I get a direct message it doesn't tell me I have to randomly go look and see if I have any! Please help. Thanks in advance!!

Go to settings, and click on the Notifications option. Scroll down until you see Twitter and enable Push Notifications and you can make it either show up in a popup window or in your status bar.
