Remove profile picture from the facebook timeline without deleting the photo?

I'd like to remove the profile picture from my facebook timeline, as in that it only shows that default, blank photo that facebook uses. However, I don't want to delete the photo completely, I still want it in my profile photo album with comments and likes and all.

So my question is; if i choose delete profile picture on my timeline... will it be deleted completely or just not be used as my profile picture(this last option is what i wish would happen)

I just don't want to risk deleting it completely

Deleting as in pressing the little picture on my timeline and choosing "delete". not viewing the whole photo and deleting it that way

The way you have mentioned will delete your photo from profile pictures. Why don't you upload another profile pic you'll have the previous one in profile pictures

just set the photo to be private, u can see lock symbol which means it appears only to u and it will be there on ur timeline.
