How to remove location from Facebook Timeline map?

The problem is that I was tagged in somebody else's photo which has a location on it.
I can't seem to find any other way to remove the location from the map besides either untagging myself or removing the photo from my timeline entirely, of which I want to do neither. All I want is that the location does not a appear on the map. I haven't been able to find a feature which allows me to do so.

that's because there is no feature for that - the only option for you it to untag yourself from the event that is putting the location on your map

Ask to the person who uploaded the picture and tagged you along to remove the location. You cannot remove the location if the picture is uploaded by somebody else.
