Advertising ideas for my car workshop?
I need ideas how to advertise for my car workshop not such as flyer's, website, radio.
My workshop offers MOT's, Auto body repairs - such as respraying cars, repairing dents, scratches polishing. Also we do all mechanical repairs from replacing engines, gearboxes, servicing, brakes basically everything. Also we do welding, repairing exhausts. Also we have a tow truck. Sell new and part worn tyres. Also we have a snap on diagnostic machine and take on electrical work we have a specialist who can take on all electrical jobs, more importantly all our work is guaranteed all quality parts.
But in more detail like such as what would people like to know such as what would people like to know?
What would you like to know before you hand your car in to a workshop?
What makes you give that car in to that shop?
Also what can I offer such as special offers? Maybe a percentage off if they bring back a flyer "5% off with this flyer"
referral discounts if their friend or family come next time they get another X% off?
Any idea is welcome also help on the design

Thanks

To advertise your workshop, I suggest creating a website. Google searching is the most dominant way that customers look for services like these, so you need to have an online presence created. Your website can be fully informational and comprehensive to help customers understand your business better. It should state hours, services, pricing, location, personnel, and more. This will save time as all of your information will be publicly available and should not need to be reiterated by your staff. Once you have a site, you should promote your business though social media. Facebook is the number 1 use of the internet so it is a great way to connect with customers in your area. Twitter is also great for creating buzz around your company. Radio and print advertising are on a downfall and your company probably isn't looking for the reach that television provides, so it would be an inefficient use of money. Internet marketing is the way to go. You should also get your company listed in online directories, offer discounts/coupons to Facebook users, offer coupons on Google places, and use search engine optimization tactics to spread the word. My company can help you design your web page, market through social media, place internet advertisements, and much more to promote your business. You can look through the business services that we offer at http://www.whistlingdark.com, send an email to ben@whistlingdark.com, or call at 910.638.5952 and I can further outline which options are best for your budget.

You can do two things:
1) Sell more to existing customers - so if someone books for an MOT send reminders about your servicing service, if they have servicing remind them about your MOT/repair service.

2) Find new customers - encourage referrals - you can just ask, hand out business cards etc or offer a 10% off if you "refer a friend type" thing. Look at speaking with local dealerships to take any over-spill work from them, look at local companies to see if you can get some corporate work - same time/effort to get one customer as to get one customer who owns a fleet of 3/6/12 company vans

Maybe offer a pick up/drop off service if people would find that of value.
Provide a high quality service, at good value and people will recommend you.
