is twitter or facebook better?

firstly one of my frends say to me "get facebook", and the other says "get twitter".

which one should i get and why?

I personally like fb better because you can talk to your friends and stuff and you don't have a character limit like twitter... Twitter is boring I actually prefer tumblr over both of them

Twitter: talk to your friends in short text messages, people who follow you decide that they also want to see those messages. text messaging to the web where everyone has each others numbers

Facebook: i want to post pictures, update people on my whereabouts and connect with those around me as if they where my neighbors. i want people to know whats happening with me and i want to know whats up with them

For twitter, you can only key in 160 characters including space and punctuation.
For facebook, you can key in as much characters as you want including space and punctuations.

Videos and Photos
For twitter, you can only post link to photos and videos
For facebook, not only you can post links to photos, you can also upload photos and videos under 20 minutes.

If you only want attention get twitter
If you not only want attention and have friends along the way, get facebook.
