I am sure there are going to be many people wondering the same thing. Facebook may have a competitive advantage over Google in that not only do they offer advertising, but Facebook also generates revenue when gaming companies such as Zynga sell in game content. It will definitely be interesting to see how everything develops however. I believe Facebook has better growth potential than Google at the start but over the long term I don't know if Facebook will be able to diversify and expand into alternative revenue generating ventures.
