Why does my laptop no connect to the internet?

My laptop will not connect to my home wifi but my ipod and other house computers work fine on it. My laptop is a HP Pavillion g6.

I had the same prob.
Restart your computer and router.
That s all I did make sure it connects to your network AUTOmatically.

Is the wifi enabled? Can you see any other networks?. In the bottom rt corner rt click on the network icon an click on troubleshoot/repair and post back the results.
The wifi card may simply have died, but we really need more info

I understand you're having some issues with the wireless on your HP Pavilion G6 laptop. I will certainly do my best to help you with this.

Since other things are connecting to your network it's most likely a setting of some sort on your PC. The link below will take you through many steps to ensure all settings are working with your network.

If this doesn't work though, please take your laptop to a friends house, or somewhere that has public Wifi and see if your laptop can connect there.
