is it possible to make 2 internet connections on 1 cox cable phone line.?

i just found out my husband has been using another connection that i never knew of. i can't come up with a reason why he has made this other connection and why is he hiding it from me, does anyone know if it possible to make 2 internet connections on one phone line and what r the uses?

If you have Cox cable high speed Internet then you can have many Internet connections simultaneously by using a wireless router. This is very common and many Cox Internet users do this for convenience. Such as having wireless Internet on laptops and other Internet enabled devices like gaming consoles, iPods, etc.

If you're using dial-up Internet and only have one Cox telephone line then this is not possible. Once a computer dial-up modem makes a connection, the line is busy and another connection cannot be made until it disconnects.
