Removing Snap.Do from Chrome?

I've looked EVERYWHERE for the answer to this. And I can't seem to find it. This is the THIRD time snap.do has taken over my chrome searching. I know to look at the extensions, the search engines, and to remove snap.do from my programs on my computer. But guess what, it isn't there at all. When I open Chrome it goes to google, but if I open a new tap, it redirects me to snap.do. Any help? I've heard it's harmless, but its damn annoying and I don't trust it one bit.
