Facebook making Timeline mandatory, not optional? What is your opinion?
On Tuesday 31 January 2012, Facebook is going to make all users profile appear in the Timeline format whether you like it or not. It will not be a matter of choice. What do you think? Should they make it an option or continue on with this dictatorship rule? Also, how many of you will cancel if their accounts if you don't like it?

My opinion is that i don't like new timeline because of that timeline the things got glitchy and loads of bugs however the old one was way better and the new timeline is so confusing as well sometime it doesn't show the notification.

Nothing should be made mandatory in Facebook. I personally don't like Timeline. There are people who might leave FB if this thing is made compulsory unless FB reverts their decision. I won't cancel my a/c if its on Timeline.

I have it already, it's awesome for finding your posts. You just click on the month or year and they come up, as opposed to scrolling through them all - and the same with other peoples posts if you want to go back to anything. You also get to choose an image that represents you, it's awesome.

I HATE IT. There is no privacy when it comes to the Facebook timeline
and the design is AWFUL. The worst part is that you are forced to use it, that is why several people are just deleting it. It will become history like Myspace. Facebook do not care what the users want and they don't even listen to the users. The new Facebook timeline will make most things public for everyone to view. And when people want to hire you, it's not a good idea. |
