My folders don't open in google chrome?

A couple of weeks ago, I begin experiencing problems with yahoo mail and google chrome. Most of these have been resolved except for one.

When I roll over folders and click, a list of folders is displayed. When I click on a specific folder to open it nothing happens. The number of emails is displayed when I roll over a folder. If I right click and open in a new tab, it opens to the inbox.

In IE, a different broswer experience completely. The folders are always displayed. When a folder is clicked, the emails in that folder are displayed.

Since yahoo mail was updated in google chrome a few months back it's not been very reliable. My preference is for google chrome for a broswer but now using ie for yahoo mail.

Any suggestions?
