How to explain to them?

My family made me deactivate Twitter, Facebook, cut off my phone plan and are making sure I don't go on chat rooms anymore due to the fact that I made friends online (didn't know them in real life). Yesterday I wrote this 2 and a half page..thing of my thoughts. It could of been longer but I got sleepy. These thoughts of mine included a girl I met online, me saying I would date her if our parents let us date, and how we had feelings for each other and even dated behind their backs for a little while, before both agreeing that it was wrong and deciding to stay friends for now.

My father told my sister and brother in law about what I wrote, they will probably come over and read it tomorrow. I know they will probably ask me a lot of questions like "what is dating to you" and "what feelings do or did you have for this girl" and they'll probably say I'm too young to date and such. How do I explain what dating is, and my feelings? I can't say I love her because that would blow them over the top, plus I don't think I'm truly "in love" yet. But I know feelings are there. I had to say goodbye to her and the rest of my online friends. I probably won't be online again for a really long time, years even, besides popping up to tell them happy birthday or something. Help?
