How do instagram user's make thier pictures lighter?

I've seen it so many times on instagram. Were people have their photo's lighter. I think it's super cute and I want to use that filter. Im just not sure if it's only for iphone's cause I see the hashtag "iphoneography" all the time on the light photo's. Im so confused someone please help me !! :c

Try using the Instagram filters or you can also look for photo editing apps.

To make my photos lighter I have the app called ps express, and it has so many different things you can do to the photo, light make it brighter/lighter and lots of stuff I think iphoneography is just a photo taken by an iPhone hope I helped!
