Hi there Robert, my name is Kimberly and I form part od the Social Media Department with DISH. It is my pleasure to assist you today! In order to change the Tv for Record Preference, press Menu on your remote, select option 8 for Preferences, and then option 5 for Record Plus. Once you are in the Record Plus Screen change the Record Preference to Tv 1 and be sure to select 'Done' before exiting the screen.
