Is it legal to create a small biz Facebook profile?

Hi. I make small leather goods as a hobby. I'm thinking about selling a few of them online. I'd like to post some of my product pictures on a Facebook, and create a profile just for my products. But my question is: Do I need a business license? I wouldn't exactly call my venture a business yet. It's more like a hobby. Someone told me that if you want to sell anything online you need to have a business license in the US. On the other hand, others pointed out for a small scale sales, it's not necessary, especially considering how much it will cost just to obtain and maintain a business license. Any good, practical advice? Thanks!

Well, it isn't actually a profile, but a page. Under the signup form, you should be able to see a 'Create a Page for a Celibrity, Business or Brand' tag.
