get money for searching on chrome?

hey everyone I was just wondering if there is a google chrome app that rewards users with giftcards for searching on the web thanks!

Not a Chrome add on, but one thing I used to use in the past was a site called Swag bucks. They have their own search provider, and every once in a while you get some points. I got several $5 paypal giftcards out of that.. It takes a fairly long time to earn enough points for giftcards, but in the long run if it doesn't bother you using their search provider you can make a small amount.
