Internet Connection ok but browser cannot browse internet website?

hi all,

My internet connection is ok.
But when i open up my msn or skype or firefox. It cannot see the website i go or msn & skype cannot go online.

I just want to ask what is the problems?

I have used norton antivirus to scan and no virus found. I do not know whether it is my file related to internet has been corrupted or any thing wrong with my pc.

Please advice and give some help on it.

Hi,
is your computer connected in a network ?
if yes, then you need to configure your browser or the application like to use the internet proxy connections as on your network.
on fire fox, you goto "tools" and then "options" and to the "advanced" tab in the dialog box and select the "network settings" set it. you may need to contact your isp for help.
