I'm currently running an ad in Craigs List Palm Springs, I want to expand the coverage area to all of So. CA., how do I expand the coverage area of an existing ad. Thanks.

Craigslist won't let you do that. You would have to enter a different phone number for the new account in each city. If you use the same phone number, they will identify you as a spammer and shut down the account.

The response before mine says that "Craigslist won't let you do that." But, there are ways around it! I have about 9 different gmail accounts just to post in different cities. I suggest you do the same - open gmail accounts, then go to each city and post using these different emails or gmails. Once you post, Craigslist needs to verify the post by asking for a phone number. What I do is call a friend and tell him/her that Craigslist is going to call them with an automated call, then they can give you the verification number that you need to enter for your post. Very simple to do.
