Should I get a Galaxy S3 or stick with my iPhone 4?

My dad is willing to give me his S3 and he'll take my iPhone 4. Should I switch? Im 13, so Ill be on instagram and talking pictures a lot. I like the camera and look of the S3, but I wont be able to facetime with the S3 or see emoticons (it may be a dumb reason, but they play an important role in my convos). So what should I do, take the S3 or keep my iphone 4? Thanks!

I would get the S3 n i wz going 2 get it but i got the iPhone 4 instead there both good phones but the s3 from what I've heard has a really battery life but its up 2 u

actually you can video chat on the s3 get tango in the app store. switch! the s3 has a better camera a better processer for more games and you can get more memory up to 64 gb without paying more..I have the s3 and I love it! and emoticons you can see them.

S3 is better than outdated iphone 4..

S3 DOES have a front facing camera which records in HD.. "facetime" is just a stupid Apple marketing term.. most new phones have front camera for skype, video calling etc. and you can get custom keyboard for emoticons

that being said, It depends on your preference, do you like iOS or Android? If you're a light user, just taking pictures/instagram,
stick to iphone for simplicity., leave the S3 for grown ups

Not a dumb reason, I have plenty of stupid convos with my friends too. XD personally, I don't care for emoticons on the iPhone, I prefer when they look normal like :O. Not being able to facetime would suck. I like the look of the iPhone better than Androids tho, which is why my Huawei has espier launcher (makes it look like iPhone) xD. Make a deal with him! Agree on a "trial" where you both exchange the phones for a week. Anytime during that week, either of you is free to "return" the phone and get the other one back. Stores give you an amount of time to return stuff, why can't you guys? Haha
