How to do SEO Optimization a Website for English, Dutch, and French?
I would want to do SEO optimization some websites for those specific languages. Is creating each language corresponding pages a good way? How does Google rank those websites for those languages?

i strongly recommend using sub domains. each subdomain is a complete web site, in a different language.

http://www.yourwebsite.com - English
dutch.yourwebsite.com
French.yourwebsite.com

as long as the subdomain is a complete web site, you should be good.

Matt Cutts has a video regarding web sites and multi language

Assuming you've completed the necessary keyword research in English, Dutch, and French, your next step is to select the domain structure. You can do this is three ways: 1) separate country-specific domains, 2) sub-domains, or 3) folders.

If you are targeting people in the UK, the Netherlands and France, then I would recommend using the first method as it allows you to set up a site targeted at a specific country audience. This makes it easier to gain relevancy and ranking in search engine results in that country. However, if you're targeting all English, Dutch amd French speakers in the world, then you can use either sub-domains or folders.

See the links below for more information on planning and implementing an international SEO initiative.

Yes, like another contributor said, use subdomains and watch the Matt Cutts video... You can also visit http://bit.ly/MarketingWonder to get more data about how to really optimize in ANY language...

One of the best ways is to use different domains for each language site. eg. yoursite.co.uk, yoursite.fr etc.

If this not seems feasible, then next step is to use sub domains.

Is creating each language corresponding pages a good way?
YES - if your targeted keywords are also in their local language: English, Dutch and French
NO - if you meant you ONLY wanted to be on top of SERPS for Google's pages in .fr, .com. .co.uk and .nl BUT the content or targeted keywords are still in English

How does Google rank those websites for those languages?
When creating domains for each website, use a local server for your targeted country. Submit links to local directories, local blogs, linking to local websites.
Based on my experience, when your website starts to get indexed and rank on the first 100, you can apply the usual and proven SEO strategy you know.
