I thought it was something like nexttag. But I can't find anything like that - only Google Products, which is an actual shopping cart. Any ideas what they are talking about?

I think they are referring to Google Checkout. This allows you to have your products listed in the results and can affect your SEO. Here's a link that may help you out:
