if you install SEO by yoast plugin then you don't need a site map, because this plugin automatically create a site map for you which you can access through your dashboard.
From your dashboard go to SEO>xml sitmap and click the button xml site map.there you will find every thing you need about your site map.If you need a visible link to your site map,you should be able to create one and place it at your sidebar. But if you feel you still need to create a sitemap, use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ to generate one for yourself.

Nova,

If Yoast set it up, then you already have a sitemap. You don't need a second one. Once google starts crawling your sitemap it'll be on autopilot

Normally there is no visible link on your website unless you put it

If you had a sitemap before you installed Yoast, make sure the plugin has access to the sitemap xml file.
If you did not have a sitemap, let Yoast create a sitemap for you and it will do the rest.

Hi,

If you set it up with Yoast SEO, then they have the sitemap created for you. Sitemaps are usually for Search Engines to crawl your page so you shouldn't see it on your website. However, if you want to create one for visitors to browse through your website, then you can do it yourself.

If you are worred, you can check Google Webmasters to see if you have a Sitemap. Furthermore, Google XML Sitemap plugin can help you create one if you don't have one already.

If you already have one with Yoast SEO, there would be no point in putting another one in, would it? Sitemaps are for search engine bots, they crawl through it for indexing your site. You don't need it for people. But if you want it there for people as well, then you can create a generic one for them as well, or can link to it.
