adblock/blocks not working?

hi when i use adblock the bloody thing is broken i still see video ads from youtube and that annoying a## little text ad also video ads from other sits show up too ive tryed everything i can think of but its not working ive even tryed different adblocks ive even disabled the other extensions to make sure they werent conflicting or anything but the problems still going on can someone help me with this. p.s. im using chrome.

Adblock does not block everything.Some things you can configure it to block.Some things you can't.

Since Google bought ABP, they have modified it's behavior to get around blanket advertising blockage.
