hard drive problems keep loosing internet connection?
it started just recently when i connect my external hard drive or pen drive i loose my internet connection. the problem resolves itself when i restart my computer.any ideas thanks

That sounds like a conflict between the USB ports and your network adapter. Resetting the BIOS might clear it if you're lucky. Clear the ESCD data to allow the BIOS to reassign the IRQ lines. Do that with your mem stick plugged in. Make sure the BIOS setting for 'Plug and Play aware OS' is set to 'Yes'

With that level of detail in your explanation...not a frickin' clue!
How is your internet connected?
How is the hard drive connected?
What OS are you using?

If you have some gnarly old USB internet connection and the HDD is USB, maybe the data throughput of the HDD just robs the internet.
