Quality router?
I have a Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 modem, but a router that is about 3 or 4 years old. Do i need to buy a new or 'upgrade' routers? Will there be a difference in internet/bandwidth strength? Like faster internet connection and download speed?

If so, what specs do I need to look for in routers? Like for modems, DOCSIS 3.0 and good brand are things to look for.
Sounds good. I have Comcast internet.

You need to do a speedtest on your Internet connection with the computer connected directly, and then again through the router. If the speeds are comparable, then your router is fine, a new router won;t help. If there's a big bottleneck, then you need a better router with higher throughput.
