What is Common Core teaching our children? Confusion? How to imagine the world without facts?

1. CONFUSION: lack of coherence, internal contradictions, disconnected facts, everything must be accepted
2. CLASS POSITION: envy and fear of certain classes, contempt for other classes, to know your place and that there is no way out of your class, you must stay where you are put
3. INDIFFERENCE: not to care about anything too much, but to make it appear that they do, that no work is worth finishing
4. EMOTIONAL DEPENDENCY: surrender their will to the predestined chain of command. Rights may be granted or withheld by any authority without appeal, because rights do not exist -- not even the right of free speech -- unless authorities say they do. Individuality is a curse
5. INTELLECTUAL DEPENDENCY: Good people wait for authorities to tell them what to do, experts make all the important choices. Curiosity has no important place
6. PROVISIONAL SELF-ESTEEM: Your self-respect should depend on expert opinion. Your decisions about yourself and your future should be based on the casual judgment of strangers. You should not trust yourself or your parents but should instead rely on the evaluation of certified officials. You need to be told what you are worth.
7. ONE CAN'T HIDE: They are always watched, that each is under constant surveillance. There are no private spaces, no private time. Students are encouraged to tattle on each other or even to tattle on their own parents. No one can be trusted, privacy is not legitimate. Surveillance is an imperative

@ChrisZFitness It's OK. It's the same math they're using with the new Obama budget proposal.

My friend said they only have 16 minutes of math in 5th grade now.
I think It should be called Communist Core. I am going to do a very important cut and paste here. Not all of it but I will leave the link

Common Core fails to teach prime factorization and consequently does not include teaching about least common denominators or greatest common factors.

Common Core fails to teach in K-8 about key geometrical concepts such as the area of a triangle, sum of angles in a triangle, isosceles and equilateral triangles, or constructions with a straightedge and compass that good state standards include.

there is a lot more. It is more of the dumbing down of America
