How come my google chrome isn't working?

you know how you are able to search up things on the google chrome link bar, and it'll take you to google. When i try, it always gives me a blank page.
Whenever i click enter, They always add a "blank.html' To the link,

upload chrome and download the again or update it when it auto remind you ..

I think you should go in your Chrome settings. There is a part called "Search" or something like that. And check the "Google" is checked as the main search engine.
