So I want to buy minecraft but what if 2.0 comes out, do I have to buy it again?

When you have bought the game, you can download the stand-alone launcher for Minecraft here. It will automatically update the game files with the latest version. You'll be able to play the game without an Internet connection if you've been online at least once.

Minecraft 2? It will never come out, Mojang will keep updating minecraft, so there is no need for minecraft 2. But if they do (Which they wont) you probably will have to buy it again. If you mean updates, you get those for free with the game, you don't need to buy it again.
