Ugly (SEO Friendly) Domain Name vs. Short Easy (Not SEO Friendly) Domain Name - Which One?
Which domain should i choose?

1. http://www.(xxxxx)domain.com

(xxxxx) represents the targeting keyword.
domain represents the company name

The target keyword doesn't sound good/doesn't match with the company name.

(OR)

2. http://www.domain.com

domain represents the company name.

1 is better in terms of SEO. However, its hard to remember and sounds ugly.
2 is better in terms of shortness, easiness and represents the company goal but doesn't
carry any target keyword.

My solution:

I buy both domains. I appoint domain 1 to the website for the search engine. However, when referring people to my website via ads, etc, i give them domain 2 which then they automatically be forwarded to domain 1. Good solution?

http://www.domain.com
If you setup your website correctly, google should not have a problem finding your key words for SEO.
