Wouldn't Conversions be higher by using a blank image for your Adwords/FB AD?
This is my pondering logic:

If you just upload a white square as your ads image, it means people will only see the text of the ad. So that way it doesnt attract people to click it who are not interested, it would be more interested users right? So it increase the potential conversion rate?

Because usually ads want to have bright, attractive, eye catching images or banners, but that would just create a lot of un-converting clicks.

Thanks

Unfortunately people will probably never see the ad text in the first place, the images are often to attract the eye through more instinctual part of the brain, once you have their attention you can hope they actually read the ad.

It turns out that images are the biggest factor in successful ads on those 2 sites, the text is almost a second though when competing for a users attention.

Some write ad copy that pre-qualifies people with lies like "Serious buyers only" or "For those prepared to spend at least $100", but more often one uses any ad tricks to get people to the landing page where the real selling starts.
