Why do some Christians watch bad tv?

I have argued with my sister over this a lot. She loves these bad reality TV shows and shows like How I met Your Mother etc. These shows are very distasteful to me and raunchy but to her they are fine. I am not a Christian and she is. It does not end with just her. Almost all of them that I know watch shows like Sons of Anarchy (Rape and Violence) or Gorey horror movies that are little less than pornography. Another friend had just posted on her FB about how she watched "God is not Dead" and felt refreshed and later was watching 16 and pregnant. I do not understand. I know this has to be the majority of Christians otherwise these shows would not be filmed. With this country being primarily Christian (85 percent). If even half of that did not watch a certain violent movie or one with objective moral values it would not be worth producing in a capitalist world it would be upside down and lose money. Why do they watch shows like this that are so obviously bad so obvious in fact I will not watch them. Also, why should someone go to a church if everyone they see are doing the same thing as you or worse but just not on Sunday and believe in Jesus?
I did not say it was a reality tv show I see reality TV shows AND shows like HIMYM. Not that it was a reality tv show.

1st how I met your mother is not a reality tv show
2nd the bible is more violent and barbaric than anything on tv so why does it surprise you?

You have to learn how to live among the differences of the way of lives and world views.
At the same time your sister look at you as if you are too serious and may cause you tension and become mental illnes.
Some time you have to let things go for the sake of peace and security in your own house which is more important than you could think off.
