Question about my blog? How should I organize it? Please help!?
So I'm wondering how to make my blog more appealing so that more people will follow it.
First way: The format I currently have, with all the text/information in each post displayed on the home page.
Second way: More like laurenconrad.com 's way, were you only see a snippet of information and a photo from the post on the home page and you have to click "more" to read more about the post.

which way is better?

my blog: http://knotsandruffles.blogspot.com/

Thank you!

Hi,

You should make sub categories for your four sections. For instance, if you focus on the beauty category, I see that you like to talk about the women who inspired you in terms of beauty. Maybe add sub categories like this:

Women of Beauty
Beauty Products I Like or Worth Mentioning
Beauty Tips I find Useful
Pictures of Beauty

Things like that, then people will find it easier to browse your blog. I hope I answered your question.

If you plan to keep on adding content to your blog, the second option can be better. Will keep the home page easy to navigate and will show all the topics without scrolling a lot. Also, will help avoid duplicates (for SEO purposes). You see, archives and the actual post are considered as duplicates especially if you you choose to show the entire post lengths on the archives. But in case you know how to use the "noindex" function, then the current style is fine.
