First we are really good friends and when he broke up with his ex he told me I'm not dating for awhile b/c i can't find the right one... however his status still says in a relationship but not with his GF and his GF status says in a relationship but with someone else. I really like this guy and want to tell him, but I'm confused if he's still in love with her, In another relationship or just forgot to change his status.
Plus on top of that we have been friends for going on 6 months and every time i tell a guy i like him it always goes bad after.

I really want him to know that i am the right one for him, but with his personal relationship issues i don't know if i should wait!
Not just that but i haven't seen any evidence if he is in another relationship.

His "status" (on his profile on Facebook?) says "in a relationship"? So what? Don't be concerned with what his "status" says. He probably wrote that when he first set up his account, and has never changed it because he has completely forgotten about what it says by now. Don't put so much faith in what you read on social sites like FB -- most of it is just a tall tale anyway.

FB is not a dating site. Many people will say, in their status, that they are "in a relationship", even if they are not. They say that to keep strangers from hitting up on them.

The ONLY way you are going to know if he is "in a relationship" is by being around him and talking to him. You also said: "every time i tell a guy i like him it always goes bad after." Don't tell a guy you like him -- wait for him to tell YOU first. Then you can tell him you like him, but don't tell him how MUCH you like him -- not at first. Guys like to think that they are the ones doing the pursuing.
