Liver angiography. How do the arteries in the liver anastomose with the internal mammary artery?
Hi!
I need some help because I can't seem to find any good images, either schemes, either drawings, either angiograms (preferably) of the branches of the proper hepatic artery inside the liver and it's anastomoses with the internal mammary artery. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7540503 http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF02807350 If you happen to know something as visually simple as possible in order not to take too much time for an attender at the presentation to get it. Thanks in advance. Ads |

Here are a couple of images of branches of the hepatic artery.
http://yester.ispub.com/journal/the-inte...g09.fs.jpg http://drugline.org/img/term/left-hepati...8593_1.jpg As for any images of the IMA / hepatic conneciton, it seems that your articles refer to collateral circulation. That means that there is normally no connection to the IMA. Remember, the liver is normally supplied by the hepatic artery off the celiac trunk. I can only suggest that you dig (via Google or PubMed) about liver cancers being supplied via the IMA. Any articles may have images. If you're near a hospital with interventional radiologists, they might have some images. Good luck. Ads |
