i met this guy on a penpal website..he migrated to france and lives over. we used to e-mail each other once a month via lengthy e-mails(i have no fb and decline skype so it was a blind friendship)...for the summer holidays he came to his home country which is mine as well and i found out that he lives only a few meters away my grand-mother's house...our first meeting was the bestest ever and he brought me a big bag of chocos..the fact that i'm shy..i find it awkward to talk to him in person and hence i never started up a conversation.unlike via a medium (phone/online)we get along very well)..we went out twice...when he was on holiday we used to SMS each other on a daily basis.i gifted an ipod case,a t-shirt and a teddy(he asked for 1) the following year he said he'll be back...he came and it was his birthday..i celebrated it with a cake..bit his finger when he fed me(a friendly prank) and got him a D&G as birthday gift..he was shock...and did not even say thank you..he even said smth i did not appreciate..we stop texting for 1week..on the eve of our next meeting he decline it saying his uncle died..which uncle? how he died? no answer,then i asked him for my DVDs..he returned them to my grand-mother..obviously he was avoiding me.i went to his place astonished to see me he invited me in a bedroom..he stared at me in a bizarre way.i has to scream for him to stop..he said that only his mom has given him such gifts..he ignored me because he thought that i loved him..i denied it...
i said it was a miss understanding and that i meant only friendship!! i hug him..and went away..on the very next day he started reproaching me the places we had been,the quality time we spent together, he even said that friends donot go out together and that he won't come next year...it seems like he was acting...because he never gave me any compliment or tried to get close to me...

Relationships that are based on line over the Internet, are often disastrous in person, so pretty normal what happened with U. Try some in person relationships next. Sometimes emails are good cuz U can say things U could not in person, but U do not want to establish an entire friendship on the net.
