Where does Firefox store cookies?
I was just wondering, I'm trying to figure out how to clean out the garbage ones without deleting the ones such as "keep me signed into Yahoo", and I don't want to use plugins if I can figure out how to do it manually.

Download CCleaner from CCleaner.com it give you options to delete certain cookies such as saved passwords and all that. the cookies are stored in the temp folder which can be accessed by going to Start>Run> %temp% they are all encrypted not much you can really see.

Not sure what Firefox version you are using, but...
To delete all cookies stored on your computer: On the menu bar, click on the History menu, and select Clear Recent History.... Set Time range to clear to Everything. Click on the arrow next to Details to expand the list of history items. Select Cookies and make sure that other items you want to keep are not selected. |

Im sorry for saying this but i do know a really good plugin to fix this:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...s/?src=api It auto deletes cookies for you. You can whitelist websites as well. IF you perfer to not, then: click Firefox button -> go to History Menu and click Show All History (or use CTRL + SHIFT + H shortcut keys combination) -> Library window will open -> select the Websites whose Cookies you want to Remove -> right-click on them and click Forget About This Site |
