Safe ad blocker for Google Chrome?
I HATE ads and pop ups with a passion! Can anyone recommend a safe ad blocker that I can install for Google Chrome, that won't cause viruses etc but will stop ads popping up all the time? This particularly happens when I'm watching videos, if that makes a difference to the type of ad blocker I should use.
If you could briefly explain how to install it as well that would be brilliant, I'm not especially computer-savvy but can follow instructions haha. Thank you! Ads |

Privoxy is a separate program from Google Chrome, however it's free. It's a proxy that shuttles your IP address through a secure connection free from ads. Pandora, Youtube, and many sites I've visited are almost ad-free.

for ad blocker
GoTo > https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...cddilifddb Google chrome is one big piece of google spyware. 5 seconds after launch it calls home, then it starts reporting back to google analytic's information about every website you visit and what you did while you were there. a unique number is created when you first use google chrome that is used to identify you personally over the internet. all of this info about you is made available to anybody that requires it. advertisers mostly use this info to target you personally with ads based on the type of sites you visit. Stop using google chrome. Use SRWare iron > http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php it is a chrome browser without the (legal) google spyware. or even better, there is comdo dragon > http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-tool...rowser.php . |

Adblock Plus is a community-driven open source project that aims to make the internet better for everyone. It was originally created for the Firefox browse but is now offering Adblock Plus for Google Chromeâ„¢ (formerly AdThwart) as well and the community is working hard to produce the same value you know from the Firefox version.
