Does Assassin's Creed 4 requires Internet to play Single player or story mode on PS3?

I don't have Internet connection for PS3 but I want to play Assassin's Creed 4 on it. I don't want to go Multiplayer or Downloading DLC......
I only want to play Single player or Storymode.....
Can I do it??

you dont need internet for single player but you can play with computers on multiplayer if you dont have internet :3

No. You can play it offline just the same. You do need online to get on the psn to play other people but you can play with bots if your interested in the multiplayer
