google adsense causing 404 error on website?

My friends and i started a website using a wordpress blog. when one of my friends installed google adsense, the website went down and a google 404 error displays in its place. can anyone tell me what is going on or how to fix it?

It's possible that your friend did not add the AdSense code properly or to the right location.
