Why are people in the facebook discussion groups so damn stupid?

I posted some thing in the discussion board in facebook and some stupid old hags started replying with crap like
"stop whining"
I told them that if they can't post anything good or something that has to do with the topic then they shouldn't be posting anything but they still keep doing the same crap. Damn, those old hags should really learn to ignore.
I know but they started and it makes me so mad when they are attacking me with words

You say they should learn to ignore, but it seems to me like you both do.
Just let it go, ignore them. Don't give them the attention they want.

Edit: Well... There's not much you can do. You can keep egging them on and they'll keep attacking you until they get bored. Or you can just ignore them. I guess if they post something offensive enough you could report them, but that seems extreme. :/

This happens sometimes, just try and enjoy your discussion/debate and not worry about them. It would seem they have not got the intelligence to contribute. There are some real idiots out there !
