My internet connection dissapeared?

i have a mac and i cant find my connection anymore. I have a linksys router and whenever i click to see available connections to connect to its gone. BUT my computer can still connect to the internet. I just have no wireless connection. Wat do i do?
For the person who asked me how i can still ask this it said rite in the question. I quote- " BUT my computer can still connect to the internet".
