Why are my youtube videos suddenly lagging?

All of a sudden for the past week my youtube videos are lagging on google chrome and opera

- i have a good graphics card with 2gb of vram
- i tried resetting browser settings on chrome
- i tried disabling plugins

- i cant skip through youtube videos and sometimes it laggs and stops working halfway

i have 25mbps internet speed and i watch almost all my videos in 360p so it should be fine

So does anyone have a solution to my problem

Yes, it should be fine, have you tried firefox or explorer to see if it persists?
I have a very similar setup but I use firefox, it only lags when I fast forward 1080p..
Can we assume you're not playing a game in the background?
Could also be the time of day, sunday afternoon is bad for that.
